Open Emberville on Steam

To start, sign in to Steam and open the official Emberville store page. On October 21, 2026, that page displayed a Download Emberville Demo option. Download availability may change after Steam Next Fest. Sources

Download and launch the Demo

  1. Open the official Steam page for Emberville (app 2295170).
  2. Check that you are signed into your Steam account.
  3. Select Download Emberville Demo, if the button is still available.
  4. Complete the installation in Steam and launch the Demo from your Library.
  5. Start the opening prologue. For the first dungeon tasks, use our first-session guide rather than assuming the full Early Access features are already in the Demo.

These are the Steam download steps, not instructions for a separate installer or an unofficial mirror. Sources

Demo dates and save progress

Press reports placed the public Demo at October 19–26, 2026, and Steam listed October 27, 2026 as the planned Early Access launch date when checked. A listed date is not proof that Early Access has already launched. Sources

Reports attributed to Evolve PR say that Demo progress will carry into Early Access. No reliable step-by-step transfer method or cross-store procedure was published in the sources reviewed. Keep your existing saves intact; do not move or overwrite save files based on an unverified guide. Sources

If the download button is missing

  1. Double-check that you are on the official Steam page linked above.
  2. Look for the Demo section rather than the Early Access purchase panel.
  3. If it has disappeared, remember that the reported Next Fest window ends October 26; availability after that date has not been confirmed here.
  4. Avoid unofficial download mirrors. Revisit Steam's listing for the current status.
